A BIG Thank you!

We were so blessed to have so many visitors the first few weeks after Jack came home.  My awesome HSES family set up a website to bring us supper almost every night!!!  Not only did we get delicious food delivered for us to enjoy, but we were able to visit and introduce Jack to so many amazing people.

Thank you so much to ALL of you for taking the time to make our transition home easier and visiting with us!

I tried to get pictures of all of our visitors, but I know I missed some of you.  I promise I will get more.

Some fun and cute things the girls said during our two weeks of visitors and meals:

Becca - "Are those REAL teachers?"

Maylee - "Mama....Are you EVER going to cook again??"

Emma - "Can people bring us food all the time?"

This was a great opportunity for me to explain to the girls how us southerners do hospitality!!!  :)

Here are some more snapshots of the last few weeks.  I cannot believe how quickly four weeks have flown by...I know I say that all of the time.  Jack is growing and changing so much.

When All You Can Do is LaUgH

Last week, the girls and I left Daddy and Jack at home and set out for some "girl" time.  We painted pottery pieces at Mud Monkey and make a quick trip to Target.  The pieces turned out very gorgeous!  I think we have some artists in the making.

While at Target, I was turned around looking at some items.  I heard the girls giggling, so I turned around and this is what I saw........

AND at this point all I could do was bust out laughing myself and of course...catch the moment on camera.  Silly girls!  Thankfully the only person who witnessed this moment was a sweet lady who joined in laughing with us.  She told me she had a daughter herself, so she understood!

Keeping with the title of this post, I must share this next picture.  First, let me say that we would never encourage any of our children to act this way!  But when your newborn son does something like this, you cannot help but laugh!  Let me set the scene for you....Jack had just had his sponge bath and was eating.  He was all wrapped up in his little robe and he did a little "business".  The girls were hovered around him just chuckling about what he had done in his diaper.  They were sticking their noses down by him and laughing and laughing.  The next thing I saw when I looked down was Jack doing some sign language!  Of course they had no idea what he was doing.  I told Dan to come over as quick as he could with his phone to get this image.  And then we literally laughed until we cried.  :)

We hope you enjoyed laughing with us!  :)

One Week Pics by Lynsey

Life has been great with our new addition at home.  Lynsey came over last week and took newborn pics of Jack.  I cannot wait to get some of these in frames.  They are beautiful.
