Jack is 8 Months Old

Bear turn 8 months old today!  It does not even seem possible that it has already been 8 months!  Dan said today that hearing him called Jack doesn't even sound normal.  As his mom, I think I will always call him Jack.  I do find myself going back and forth!  :)

At eight months, Jack (Bear) is scooting around on the floor doing an army crawl, getting on his hands and knees and rocking, sitting up, saying DaDaDa, holding his hands out like he wants you to hold him, squealing, and watching every move his 3 big sisters make!

Bear got new shoes this weekend.  We could not get any of the shoes we had on his foot!  Well he only wears a

The Ultimate Boot

I love shoes, jewelry, purses, scarves, and really anything that is an accessory!  Well it is so hard for me to admit that one of my favorite things to collect might have caused me to break a bone in my foot!  Yes, I have a broken left foot!  :( I knew something wasn't right last week, but I just chalked it up to just being busy and walking a lot!  By Sunday night I was in terrible pain, so Dan convinced me to go to the dr Monday. I am now sporting a lovely walking boot!

February Happenings

It has been a very busy month so far.  I guess busy is just the norm!  :)

Here are a few highlights from our February so far!

February 5th was our anniversary.  This pic makes me smile, so I had to post it again!

Jack has a new Big Boy car seat!  He loves it.   He is cutting more teeth, so that is why he has the red around his mouth. Come on teeth.....!!!

Maylee reading to Bear.  His pants are pushed up like capris.  ha!  He is very interested in the story.

Becca and Bear -- my dinner dates at Dales for HSES Family Night!

My Saturday lunch dates!  We hit the Mexican restaurant after my hair appt!  :)  Cheese dip is always a fave for this crew!

Jack and Granny McCay

Precious!!!!

Our baby Bear is growing so quickly!

A little cuddle time after a fun and exciting day!

Things to remember......

* Emma was sick for a couple of days this week, so as soon as I got home from work Friday I loaded May, Bec, and Jack in the truck to run some errands.  I figured Dan and Emma could get some rest in a quiet house.  As we were driving down the road, I was listening to Maylee and Becca's conversation.  Here it goes:
May - "Becca, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Bec - "A veterinarian"
May - "You know you have to go to like 4 years of school to do that."
Bec - "Actually I want to be a toe nail painter."
May - "Yeah... you do not have to go to school to do that........ Let's work at the same place..."

It was priceless.   I am typing this so I do not forget it!  I also named the two of them Yak1 and Yak2 after this outing.  Let's just say there was not a quiet moment at all in the car.  :)  Thankfully, Emma was feeling much better by Saturday morning!

Happy Birthday, Popie!

I am behind posting these pics!  January is usually what we consider a slow month in the school world (if there is a such a thing....)!  January 2013 proved us wrong!  It has been a busy and exciting month.  So with that being said, I am simply behind!

We celebrated Popie's birthday on Sunday, January 27th which is his actual birthday.  We had yummy lasagna & of course cake!  After eating and singing Happy Birthday, the girls had Popie dancing!  Jack slept through most of the partying.  Matter of fact we had to wake him up, so we all could go and look at Grandmamma and Popie's house.  Go figure.....any other time he would simply cat nap!  :) We had a lot of fun celebrating.  And the house is looking gorgeous!  It won't be long before they will be ready to move!

Here are a few other photo shots!

Jack has been wanting to get in on some Wii action --- he stole the remote!

Saturday morning snugglers!

So this might be why I do not accomplish much in the evenings...... I do not want to put him down!
