Spring is in the Air!

We are so happy spring is here.  We had a very busy and fabulous spring break.  It went by so quickly like all vacations do.  Dan and I made a quick trip to the Tennessee River to spend the weekend with GiGi, G'Paul, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Joe. The water was very high, but we still managed to get in a couple of boat rides. We went to the zoo on Thursday with what seemed like ALL of the mid-south.  On Saturday, we had another birthday party to attend - John Stephen turned one.  And on Sunday we wrapped up the week with a great cookout at Poppy and Grandmama's for Aunt Patty's birthday.

Then it was back to the grind at work and school for all of us!  It is so hard to believe that we only have EIGHT weeks of school left.  I love this time of year at school.  It is extremely busy but exciting.  :)

Happy Birthday, Nicholas

How in the world does a year go by so quickly?  It seems like just yesterday I was driving to the hospital to meet Sabrina and Dustin's sweet new baby boy.  I was so excited to meet him.  This was a special trip to me because I never had the chance to visit them in the hospital with Noah....being that I was in the hospital at the same time with Maylee.  The visit was so touching.  The Lowry family is so precious.  Seeing them all together and loving on baby Nicholas was something I will never forget.

The girls and I went to Nicholas's birthday party today.  We had such a great time.  Here are some of the pics from today.

A Sweet Suprise

To say that the week started off crazy might be a slight understatement.  With a new "baby" in the family, our mornings have been a little hectic with various activities such as POTTY TRAINING.  One morning Maylee was watching Molly to make sure she didn't "go" in the house.  The next thing I knew...Maylee was screaming "Mama, Mama....she did!"  I went in the bathroom to find Maylee scrubbing on her foot with tissue because she stepped in "it" and all of sudden she gagged and threw up on her dress.  I just sat there staring and thinking "NO WAY...this is not happening"!!!  Well we got it all cleaned up and made it to work and school just a few minutes later than I like to get there.  I even laughed about the whole situation as I thought about it.

Through all of the chaos of the mornings, my sweet husband has kindly listened to me vent and thought of several ways to make it better.  Wednesday I even walked in my office to find a beautiful hydrangea plant had been delivered.  It really did make my day.  :)

Molly is doing better each day.  The girls absolutely love playing with her.  They carry her around like she is a baby doll.
