We had a fabulous time in Gatlinburg. On the first day, the weather was perfect for a hike on Mt. LeConte. We saw beautiful patches of ice and snow, but it was warm enough to enjoy all of it. On day 2, we drove through Cade's Cove and enjoyed seeing a lot of deer and turkey. Also, we loved looking at the old homes and churches. After driving the loop, we drove to Ober Gatlinburg to go ice skating! We finished the evening with a great dinner and met a very nice couple that lives in Gatlinburg. Everything about our honeymoon was perfect!
On the way home, we went to Mama's to pick Maylee up. We knew the weather back home was getting snowy and dangerous. We were fortunate not to run into any snow and ice until Corinth.
Here are a few highlights of the trip!

Ice skating in Ober Gatlinburg. No falls and Dan did some spins and turns! I did great just getting off of the rail for most of the time. |
