Football and the Fair

Saturday was a great day for some football and the fair!  We watched the UT game Saturday afternoon.  We promised May that we would take her to the fair at some point and well we had two days left to do it.  After looking at the weather forecast, we knew Saturday was our only option.  The game was so intense and good that we had to watch it to the end....even though it was not the outcome we wanted.  Finally, it was time to be off to the fair.  The great thing about the Mid South Fair now being in Southaven is that it only took us about five minutes to get there.  Maylee was so excited!  This was also Jack's first trip to the fair.  Can you believe he slept through some of it?!?  We are not quiet around him at all, but that was a lot to snooze through.  After he woke up, he loved looking around at all of the lights and people.  Maylee is now tall enough to ride some of the bigger rides.  She loved them!  I really was nervous because I thought she would freak out, but she was waving her hands in the air and all the stuff you do on the rides!  Dan and I enjoyed riding the rides too.  The fair really does make you feel like a kid again.  Although...the Crazy Mouse ride gave me a little bit of a scare - the poor little boys in the car with us probably had a good laugh at me.  I swear I thought the car was going to fall off the roller coaster track.  :)  It was a great day!

Ready to Ride

Jack wasn't too sure about the guys asking us to play the games while Daddy and Maylee were riding.  Hmmm... me either!  :)
